Volunteer Coordinator

Ladysmith Family and Friends (LaFF) Family Resource Program is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to be a key member of our LaFF team. You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, management, and retention of volunteers for LaFF. This role is essential for ensuring that our programs are supported by passionate, committed, and well-trained volunteers. The role is integral in supporting LaFF’s mission through volunteer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have experience with volunteer engagement or related field, excellent interpersonal and communication skills working with others, strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve and work independently.  Familiarity with Word, Excel, Volgistics etc. and basic volunteer management software are also an asset. 

A Criminal Record Check is mandatory. 

LaFF offers a competitive salary, and some flexibility regarding scheduling.
